About this deal

At this time, we also realized that the center opening on either side of the bezel is to allow hands to pull the panels open.

The PSU rides a bit high in the saddle when it slides into the chassis, in fact, enough that we have to pry on the PSU to align the holes. One of them is Corsair, who has done things we have not appreciated along the way, but most of their gear is top-notch and comes backed with seriously full feature sets. RGB builds are notoriously cable heavy and even though I pride myself on creating neat PCs, I’ve had to cram my fair share of rear panels on to get them to close.

Description The CORSAIR iCUE 5000T RGB’s contoured curves and 208 individually addressable RGB LEDs make your system unmistakable, while CORSAIR RapidRoute and a spacious interior make it easy to build. For some perspective, that’s just an inch shorter than its full-tower sibling, the 7000D Airflow (23. The iCue 5000T comes with an optional low profile PSU shroud that creates clearance for large radiators, but due to its quarter pipe shape, I was curious to see if it would affect the thermals, and it did–more so than I would have expected. WHAT'S COVERED: Immediate protection against accidental damage, along with cover for breakdowns and faults not covered by the seller/manufacturer warranty.

With the dual lighting zones, both in the hub and ring of each fan, they are clearly visible as soon as the computer is powered on. The Corsair iCUE 5000T RGB Mid Tower is also super easy to build into thanks to its impressive engineering. Details about the extent of our regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority are available from us on request. If you should receive a product that has been damaged while in transit please reach out to us here within 2 Days and we will certainly be able to address your concerns. There are also slots for a pair of thermal probes that you can position at different points throughout your computer (like your GPU), to allow the controller to monitor specific temperatures and ramp fans up according to that location.I loved that case, but with its dual chamber design, the component area was narrower and would heat up more quickly. So you really have to love RGB lighting, and be willing to pay for it, if you’re considering this case. Includes three CORSAIR LL120 RGB fans with 16 individually addressable RGB LEDs per fan, controllable via PWM from 600 - 1,500 RPM, for powerful airflow and high-impact lighting. The side panels are tool free and hinged so you can quickly gain access to your components for a cheeky upgrade or two, and the motherboard tray side of the case features RapidRoute cable management for clean and tidy builds. Our advice at this time is to hold on when looking at the iCUE 5000T RGB, as it could be an amazing specimen, but just not as it sits.

The PSU opening accepts the PSU through this side of the case and supports the PSU with small rubber pads stuck to the chassis. That means you can’t plug devices with standard RGB headers into the case (at least without some unofficially supported conversion cable), but honestly, with three RGB fans and all the extra lights, you probably won’t feel the need to add even more lighting. Includes Three Corsair LL120 RGB Fans: 16 individually addressable RGB LEDs per fan, controllable via PWM from 600 – 1,500rpm. With a top-mounted radiator, it was almost impossible to unplug the CPU power connector in the 680X without also removing the entire radiator. Even so, with a sense of forgiveness in our hearts, there is still too much going on in the complaints department for what Corsair is asking for this case.
