About this deal

Following her previous film appearances, Elektra's film rights reverted to Marvel Studios in 2014 and became available for use in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. [101] Elektra appears as a boss in the Daredevil (2003) tie-in game as a brainwashed servant of the Kingpin until Daredevil eventually frees her. But that’s not their home; they’ve stayed there with the king. He gave them hospitality, but he couldn’t give them what they really need—what Father can.”

Perhaps it isn’t surprising that Helen is intrigued by Menelaus, I thought. The old legend of the family was one we’d heard before, a grisly story that chilled the blood but seemed so distant from reality. Now it was a step closer—two brothers seeking justice, healing the wounds of a tortured family with one final act. The writing is obviously amazing. The beginning and the end were impossible to put down, I loved it, it made me feel like I was there, with the characters.

I was glued to it from beginning to end and could not wait to recommend to my friends afterwards.’⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ REAL READER REVIEW Menelaus…” Helen said meditatively, lingering over the syllables of his name. She shrugged, twisting a smooth curl of hair around her fingers, to the visible annoyance of one of the handmaidens, whose fussing ministrations had produced nothing like the bounce and gleam that Helen’s effortless coiffing did. “Perhaps there were others richer or more handsome,” she said. “Bolder, certainly.” She curled her lip slightly, maybe thinking of the undercurrent of violence that had throbbed invisibly around the hall as the suitors eyed one another. “But Menelaus … he seemed different.” Elodie Yung to Play Elektra in 'Marvel's Daredevil' ". The only thing that I slightly minded was that it seemed to end so fast, when the rest of the story was drawn out. I think Saint was the perfect choice of author to bring Atalanta's story to life. Her writing style is beautiful, and pulls you right into the action so you feel like you're really there. I love it.The youngest daughter of Clytemnestra and Agamemnon, Elektra is horrified by the bloodletting of her kin. But can she escape the curse, or is her own destiny also bound by violence? The story telling flows and the author did really well to breathe life into centuries old myths and legends that makes the reader really connected with the story. But still, I had so much fun reading this, seeing not only my baby Atalanta shine, but other mythological figures too. A gathering of the greatest band of heroes from across all of Greece wants to sail on the Argo, in search of a Golden Fleece; and Atalanta the only woman in the group boards on the ship, as Artemis's champion to be the best of them all.In partnership with Headline and the wonderful Siobhan Hooper we were able to evolve one of the original sketches into the cover it is today. I am super proud of the final result and I cannot wait to see it printed!” Complex—and bold…Fans of Madeline Miller's Circe will enjoy this faithful retelling that centers the often-forgotten women of Greek myth.”— Booklist At certain points the story was so emotional for me that it made me cry, THANK YOU FOR THAT, JENNIFER SAINT!! I was actually expecting to cry, I had tissues ready and everything. This might be a case of having read too many modern interpretations of classic Greek adventures. Or perhaps it's because I've read too many really good ones. I really enjoyed this retelling which was rare in my last few ones, although I expected this, after all this is Jennifer Saint, her characters are remarkable and the story, she tells the tale that you know it, but still so engaging, beautiful and heartbreaking.
